I’m glad you are someone with a desire to find and understand truth.
If we were face to face, I’d shake your hand, congratulate you for developing a seeking heart, and offer you whatever help I can moving forward.
Above all, I believe that truth is not up for debate.
“Truth is knowledge of things as they are, as they were, and as they are to come.” -D&C 93:24
Only God is the source for perfect truth.
As mortals we have a responsibility to search for truth because discovery and application of truth is the quest and the test of this life and eternity.
I also believe that, we each bear responsibility,
“…to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor. Therefore, they are left without excuse…” -D&C 88:81-82
Sadly, I’m not meeting you face to face, but through writing I have found that people’s lives and perspectives can be changed in much the same way that is possible in person. I write to share truths that have freed me–truths that have brought me joy that I never imagined could exist. I am far from perfect, but I have been blessed with experiences and knowledge that I can now see are desperately needed in a world that every day seems to be more foundationless and tottering.
I write about things that are simple and foundational but somehow seem to have been forgotten. I write when I feel inspired and when I get that feeling inside that says, “If only people understood!” Some of the truths I write about will most likely change your life. How do I know? I’ve shared these things with other people before I got to meet you.
Under the ‘Articles‘ tab above, scroll through until you feel the nudge inside that seems to say, “This one’s for you.” After you’ve finished that one, I hope you take the time to share what you’ve learned with someone else. (See quotes on left hand side of page)
Finally, please share with me through the comments what truths you are learning so that we can learn together.
